Iowa Lions Donor Memorial & Healing Garden

Since 2005, the Iowa Lions Donor Memorial & Healing Garden has served as a beautiful landmark located at the Main Entrance of University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. The donor memorial and healing garden commemorates donors who have transformed lives through their generosity as well as Iowa Lions and others who have supported the work of donation. This area is intended to serve as a place of reflection and inspiration. The public is welcome to visit the memorial at anytime throughout the year.

With a monetary contribution, areas of the memorial are available to be permanently named to recognize friends and families of organ, eye, and tissue donation, or honor a loved one. Contributions help build the Hope, Renewal, and Transformation Fund, providing vital support of the Iowa Lions Eye Bank and the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences to pursue research, training, and education in quest of eradicating blinding eye disease.

If you would like information about how to contribute to the memorial, contact Tiffany Crider-Jensen, family services coordinator, at 319-335-4888, or tiffany-crider-jensen@uiowa.edu
